I am the secretary on the Canadian Deaf Blind Association, Alberta Chapter Board and has been involved with CDBA AB since June 2017.
Proud to be a part of CDBA, Kellie believes in providing opportunities for people to access services that work towards improving overall quality of life. CDBA has been a strong advocate for Deafblind people and Kellie is happy to be a part of that tradition.
Kellie has been supporting people with developmental disabilities since November 2008 in her career and through this work, has taken ASL courses at Deaf and Hear Alberta, University of Calgary Continuing Education, and Alberta Cultural Society of the Deaf in Edmonton. She’s had the opportunity to meet individuals in the Deaf Blind community and has been humbled by their strength.
Being a member of the board and to have the opportunity to work more closely with CDBA members to ensure quality service that meets their varied needs is an honor for Kellie.
